99lsguy Posted February 17, 2004 Share Posted February 17, 2004 3) went for emissions testing about a month ago and HC reading barely passed. excessive moisture coming from exhaust, related to small coolant comsumption. i want to completely flush the coolant and know about the 3 drains (1 radiator and 1 on each side of engine block), how do i flush the remaining coolant from the heater core? I hear you on that one too. I just drained , refilled coolant and took 8+ quarts for an 11.5 quart system. I assumed some coolant is below the drain !Removed! in the block as well.
