Jay-C
Hi All, I'm new to the lexus world, just bought an 07 IS250. I got it from the Lexus dealer but the mileage is quite high (85000 km), it will go through the lexus certified 131 pt inspection, but a friend of mine told me around 100K km the timing belt needs to be replaced, which costs around $1000, is this true? BooCloud-CAN
I'd definitely be very interested in knowing if the timing belt needs to be replaced at 100k. I just got a 2007 IS250 as well (AWD) but mine has 41k Km on it. Thanks.

intakerGS
but a friend of mine told me around 100K km the timing belt needs to be replaced Are you sure it's not a timing chain? Those can last almost a car's lifespan.
