Door Locks On Driver Side Not Working

Recommended Posts

New to this.. but i just bought a 2001 Lexus GS300 about three weeks ago.. I absolutly loveee my car, but there are a couple things i need to do to her before i start the hard core detailing.... When i try to lock the doors with the Automatic lock, only the passenger front and rear door locks...and I have to manually lock my driver and rear driver door. What could it be? Possibly a Fuse? the Acuator? Motor? Sensor Failure? Any help will be alot of help... Thanks guys !!

Thanks for the help ! =)

Congrats on the new car.

You said it, it could be all. It's a known fact that the lock motors (or actuators) go out in time. However, it's not to say that this is true in your case. If you do a search , you find many topics covering this. Also see this link: door locks
