However, this winter I decided to move into a winter/snow tire for safety and to avoid a repeat of our horrible winter last year. I did research and decided on Michelin X-Ice Winter/Snow tires, and I am very pleased. I can't believe how smooth and quiet they are and the excellent traction as well as stooping capabilities on packed snow and ice.
