My 2001 IS300's headlights have been flickering on and off which leads me to believe the the Ballast's are bad... and the bulbs may need changing as well. This is fine and dandy but replacements from Lexus are $700 for each Ballast and $250 for each bulb... I am in need of some place I can order replacements for much less. I have scoured the internet and all I find are "Conversion Kits" that may not fit as I alreasy have HID lights.... Any suggestions? cduluk Posted September 30, 2010 Share Posted September 30, 2010 The standard HID bulbs in the Lexus IS300 are D2R 85126 by Philips. HIDconcept.com is on ebay and they have them for a decent price. Ballasts, that's another story. They're specific to the car. Not sure how the IS's are, but you may need to take them apart to gain access to the ballasts.
