dcfish Posted September 10, 2010 Share Posted September 10, 2010 Remove the chrome nut from the outside and drop the ant unit into the trunk, Disconnect and open the motor assy. Pull out the old mast and stick the new one in the ant, Turn on the radio and let the mast feed into the ant. Reinstall. P.S. Make sure the mast is down before you start. JohnH Posted September 22, 2010 Share Posted September 22, 2010 I would re-do the steps from the manual. Be sure to do the 1st step using the buttons on the radio. This extends the antenna to its farthest extension. Thanks. I pulled out the old and installed a new one but perhaps the nylon cable is too long, the antenna does not go all the way down.
