dwafford Posted August 28, 2010 Share Posted August 28, 2010 My retractable top had been working fine until yesterday, when it suddenly went into a mode where it will advance only one step or one partial step in the operation sequence, then stop. Re-pressing or continuing to press the top operation button produces no results. I discovered by experimentation that if I switch the ignition key off, then back on, then press the top button, it will again advance all or part of one step in the up/down operation sequence. I tried disconnecting the battery, thinking perhaps this would reset the ECU, but no change. Any experience or suggestions would be very much appreciated.
