Does any know what is the normal RPM when the car hit 70 for GS300 2001? My car's RPM is always at 2800 when I do 70 and 3200 when I hit 80. It seems alittle high to me. Is it normal? I took the car to the dealer and they said everything's fine. The car iddles at 600-700 when park

Sounds about right. The dealer should know best.

sounds normal. try going 80mph than letting go of the gas. it should drop the rpm's.

The RPM's are normal for those speeds. Although the idle is a bit high, I idle at 450 when warm.
