Changing Rear Oxygen Sensor For '96 Sc300

Greetings All,

I'm in the process of changing out the 3 Oxygen sensors on my '96 SC300. The 2 exhaust manifold sensors were fairly easy to remove/replace. However, the rear sensor requires the car to be raised and a rubber grommet to be removed. My question is this: Once I detach the Oxygen sensor from the exhaust pipe and remove the grommet from the underside of the floor board, can I pull the wire bundle downward to reach the plug. I'm not sure if there is enough slack to pull the wiring down and detach the plug from under the car. It appears the plug connection is physically located under the passenger floor board. Any help/diagrams would be most appreciated.

Did you ever get any assistance? I'm working on my 92 SC300 and can't find the rear O2 sensor?

This was posted *long* ago, I realize, but did you ever solve your problem. My husband is having a similiar problem with our ES300. Thanks. :)

I've looked and looked can't find anything. I even ran across some information that indicates there are only two in the SC 300/92. Good luck and keep us posted.

My husband ended up cleaning the sensors and all the sensors now work fine. Our problem has been narrowed down to the wiring harness between the a/f sensor and the brain. Is the sensor for sure bad or just dirty?
