skotter Posted August 12, 2010 Share Posted August 12, 2010 First off I'm new to the forum and wanted to say thanks to all the people who contribute to this board it's great. I've read alot but this is my first post:-) My battery light in the left hand corner of my dash just turned on this morning on my 1996 Lexus ES300. Is that light for the battery or for the alternator, I don't have the manual? I'm hoping just battery as that's cheap. I was thinking alternator but I took it to batteries plus and they ran a check on the alternator and it came back ok. Today it was coming on and off a few times and then stayed off.
