bodivo
Hi, First of all, I am french. So please excuse my poor english, I'm doing my best. I have a 1992 SC 400. There are less than 5 of these cars in the whole country. nobody knows this model, even the Lexus dealers. This make things more complicated. My power steering has been recently replaced by a remanufactured one (Rock auto). It works when automatic choke runs and when driving. Then, when the engine is higher in temperature, the power steering goes off when shifting reverse gear. RPM goes down a little bit when shifting reverse gear, which is correct I suppose. To get the power steering steering back, I need to accerelate as the same time as I brake ! difficult to do when you back up ! Doses anyone has an idea of the problem ? Thanks for your help. oguitar
Maybe you have some air bubbles in the system. You might have to burp them out.
