Verizon Mototola Droid And Usb/bluetooth

I have a Verizon Motorola Droid phone, hooked it up to the usb port in the phone and was only able to use it to charge the phone. Calls are via bluetooth though. How can I play the music stored on my phone to work through the nav/audio system? Anything else I should know about the connectivity?

I added my Droid as a Bluetooth Audio Device through the nav screen. Works Great. No wires !!

Can you explain in detail how you configured it, as I like to do it on my 2007 rx400h. thnx
