toofastgtp Posted June 29, 2010 Share Posted June 29, 2010 So after a major rain storm my car started to throw a P1600 (Batt ECM) Checked my fuses and all good. What else do i need to check? The car seems to run fine out side of a slight ruff idle but not really noticeable unless your paying attention. If my ECM was really bad wouldn't my car run like complete crap or not at all? intakerGS Posted June 29, 2010 Share Posted June 29, 2010 Have a look at this thread: P1600 Most likely the power to the ECU backup terminal is compromised or getting <9Volts.
