emalo54321
i just bought a 1998 gs400. overall amazing purchase. i couldnt be happier. i realized that there is a nakamichi amp in the trunk. i want to put either a 10" or a 12" subwoofer in the trunk. would the stock amplifier have enough power to supply either a 10" or a 12"? or would i have to buy another amp? thanks for your input
Infamous 1
If you are planning on replacing the factory sub, then yes the amp will work as long as the wattage is the similar.

SKperformance
the stock amp couldn't push an aftermarket 5inch full range cone. The amp is made for efficiency not power . Get an after market amp and sub if you want more . Otherwise a new sub will give you less with the oem amp .
