Cost Of Ownership 2006 Gs 300

Thinking about getting a 2006 lexus gs300. I know this is a general question, but does this car have a pretty good cost of ownership as far as maintenance??? I wanted a 2003 bmw 745i but i have heard nothing but horror stories at the cost of ownership of those cars.

It's a bit in the eye of the beholder. From a technical or statistical point of view (in time), these car's are very reliable and cost effective. Prices for regular maintenance and/or worn parts are a bit more steep then for ex. a fiat punto.

Compared to equal competion, I would put my money on a well-taken-care-for Lexus anytime. But that's my opinion, maybe I'm spoiled.
