mj2boogie
I have a burned out bulb in my driver's side headlight assembly - I think it is the main headlight. Can I change just the bulb, or does the entire sealed headlight assembly need to be replaced (which is what someone told me one time)?? Thanks

mj2boogie
Yes I am. I had one of the headlight assemblies replaced a few years ago, and I thought they said it was because it had a burned out light bulb, though it may have had gotten moisture inside also. The entire assemblies are pretty expensive. Your serious ???
dcfish
The bulbs themselves are replacable, The socket turns (about a half turn) and just pulls straight out, Then the bulb can ba replaced. No need for the entire assy. to be removed.
1990LS400
There are threads from the past on how to change SC3/400 headlight bulbs. Here is one: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=10787&st=0&p=65018&hl=%20headlight%20%20bulb&fromsearch=1entry65018 Use this page to search this forum: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search and limit your search to the 92-00 SC section. You can find posts that have multiple words by prefixing them with "+" signs in the "Find Words" field ... e.g. +headlight +bulb
torontosc400
if its just the burnt light bulb, i dont think it would require the whole headlight assy.
