Rx300 - No Sound From Front Left Speaker... Nav But Not Working

2001 RX300 with standard stereo. Navigation however the Nav is totally dead. I've pulled the Nav DVD unit for repair.

Issue: No stereo sound from front drivers door speaker or tweeter. Pulled door panel and tested known good speaker and nothing - no power to speaker.

See if you think I'm on the right track here.....

I understand that the nav voice sound goes to front drivers speaker only. I'm thinking that a dead nav is causing a dead front drivers speaker......

I answered my own question while writing the post. I hook up the dead Nav DVD which I originally pulled to repair and the speakers work fine.
