Nukejr Posted March 31, 2010 Share Posted March 31, 2010 Does anyone know where I can find the material that the trunk lining is made of, or a material that is nearly exact in color and texture. I tried a "charcoal" polyester felt from our local fabric store, but it was much lighter than I though (bought the material after dark!). My wife suggested that I dye it darker to match, however, through a bit of research I found out that polyester is very difficult to dye, and is a task that really should not be attempted by an amateur. My intentions are to use this material to cover my custom subwoofer enclosure and I want it to look as if it were an OEM option. I am not a fan of the after-market, flashy look.
