Canibus36 Posted January 30, 2004 Share Posted January 30, 2004 I have a 1994 Lexus ES300 and recently the middle of the AC unit lcd got dim. The AC works fine and you can still see everything, just that it is dim in the middle. So when it is dark, you can clearly see that it is dim. Is there a bulb or something I can change to fix this since it looks really bad. I do not want to buy a new AC unit just because it is dim, so if anyone has any information on how to fix this, please let me know. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Look on eBay there is a guy repairing those things, altho he lists the SC His email is bcrowder19@comcast.net I have not done business with him (yet) but he seems okay. Sounds barbaric, but works occasionally; mine did that same thing once and I smacked on it a bit and problem solved and hasn't happened since.
