ED. Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Got a call this morning from my Father who said the HEIGHT light came on when he was driving and when he got to work the back of the car was all the way down. Said I would check here. Drivers side shock was replaced a couple years ago along with the front. A month ago the front ball joints on the drivers side were replaced by a shop. That is all that has happened with it since he's owned it. What could likely be the problem? A bad bag? Leaky line? Pump? Which one is most likely, I should say. Car is at shop now waiting for diagnosis tomorrow. Place he took it to will look and let him know then he'll order the part himself. This particular places marks up their prices A LOT. TIA
RDM Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 The shock is what adjusts the height. If both shocks are fully bottomed out the air compressor is more than likely the culprit.

On my 98 lexus ls400 both sides of my rear suspension was down, my mechanic found a height sensor that was bad. He adjusted or replaced it. It was very cheap.
