Clunking Noise In Steering

Hello, just had my oil changed at a local Toyota dealer, lots cheaper then Lexus dealer, washed car, very happy to do work on Lexus. He said the steering had a clunking noise, very slight, I can barely hear it. 2004 es 69000 miles. He said they would pull the steering shafts, replace seals lubricate etc. 175.00. He said this was a common problem in the es and Camry. I said no, he was good about it, said just to keep it in mind. Any info on this would be helpful. service area just as clean as Lexus. Thanks.
