GS300dude
Can someone please provide me with detailed instructions on how to replace front and rear brake pads and rotors on a 1998 GS 400.Thank you! Any recommendations for reasonably priced brands (pads and rotors)? umm there is nothing to it. hook the car up take out the tire, take out the 2 caliper bolts, and the caliper comes right off along with the pads. once the caliper is off the rotor comes off too, you might have to use a rubber hammer, and a WD-40 to lossen the rotor. Atleast thats what I had to do to take out the rotors. same thing for the back, MAKE sure you have the parking brake ON!!. as far as reasonably brake pads and rotors goes, I got mine from www.ebay.com , got 4 coss drilled/slotted rotors with 8 evolution ceramic pads all for $193.00 free shipping. I must say cant beat that deal. Im sorry I know this isnt a detailed info, but its better then nothing!
