"Lexappeal" Posted January 21, 2004 Share Posted January 21, 2004 Hey Guys and Ladies, I'm looking to upgrade the brakes on my 99 GS400. I'm looking to get the Cross-drilled and slotted rotors with a good set of pads for the front and rear. Any recommendations on which ones to get and where to get them would be much appreciated. I have a few people talking about the Brembo cross-drilled/slotted with the EBC green stuff pads? That's what I had with some SS brakelines.. You'll definitely feel the difference from stock.. Question for you, why don't you spend a couple hundred more for some TT brakes? They have great breaking power and are very affordable.. The only problem is I think you may need spacers if you don't have at least Medium disk front rims.. If so, has anyone else had any issues after putting on these cross-drilled/slotted rotors and pads?? I've had to change two sets on each then, I had to move back to the manufactered rotors & pads. Before I spent the large amount on the whole SS brake system, I wanted to make sure everyone continued to have the same problems I had. Thanks.
