a little seafoam goes a long way. Pick up a can for about $7 and clean out your engine. 1/3 in the gas tank, 1/3 in the intake (I go through the brake booster line), and 1/3 in the oil. Basically just read the can and reviews online. Its a great product that has kept my 1994 ES300 running great.

Changing regular maintenance parts such as a full tune up, fluid flushes etc also will help a great deal. I use a synthetic fuel system cleaner once a year to keep things clean.....but also a high quality gasoline.

There is no 'miracle' in a bottle.....I use it to simply keep things clean as opposed to fixing a problem. Routine maintenance is key if you think you have a power/performance issue. What major service has been done on your ES recently? IE: Tune up, throttle body cleaning etc, any CEL on the dash?

i did my rear brakes, took off the gross aftermarket chrome rims that were on them.i want to do a simple tranny drain and fill but firestone told me not to do it since im not positive when the last owner did this change and it could damage the tranny.how much would a throttle body cleaning cost? and if cel on the dash means dash lights lit up,just my abs light is on.id also like to do a tune up(plugs and wires at least)

You should be safe to do a simple tranny 'drain & fill' & replace the drain plug gasket......I wouldn't suggest a complete 'power flush' though.

Throttle body cleaning should be under $100...as far as a full tune up, I'd recommend plugs, wires, air filter, fuel filter & PCV valve. Once that is done, see how the car goes. B)

Any idea what is wrong with the ABS system?

not sure im sure one of the sensors are bad my brakes feel pretty good tho.the throttle body cleaning sounds interesting and id like to do a tune up,only problem is i dont trust many mechanics and im not that mechanically inclined.

and the tranny drain and fill i made sure to say not a complete flush just a simple drain and fill of the fluid and the guy told me they dont recommend that blah blah.but id like to change the fluids but now im scared to dont want to mess anything up.
