ArmyofOne
Boy...This was a job. The nickname given to this truck by its owner, its Big Red. you will see why in a minute. The owner requested some special work be done on this detail, including a full undercarriage repaint with a corrosion inhibitor and a rust-resistant paint. Before: ^claybar...thats nasty... ^CC failure on the hood. I wetsanded the hood later in the process. ^part of the prepwork, preparing to grind the hinges to bare metal with a wire brush grinder wheel, and repaint them with corrosion resistant black spray paint. ^heavy swirls. More to come.
ArmyofOne
^After wetsanding the hood. ^After chassis restoration, prepped for polish/glaze/wax/sealant. ^put the polish on, and it started to sprinkle outside, so I pulled it in the garage... ^It BARELY fits. There was 1/4 inch clearance between the roof rack on the truck and the upper frame of the garage door. Interior Before: ^MUD EVERYWHERE!
