Ultimate Conversion

Recommended Posts

i own a 1995 ES300. i want to do the ultimate conversion. money is not and issue and neither is time. I want to convert my FWD ES300 to an AWD/ selectable 4x4 car. I know how impossible it seems especially after looking under my vehicle, but anythings possible. If anyone knows how i can achieve this please reply

You can use the tranny from the rx300 4wd. You will have to do a little modification to the bell-housing but everything should bolt on. The driveshaft is a little bit longer but is not problem. Also reroute your exhuast but this is a do-able project. This thing will run you around 15g.

Unless you have a technical background in designing or re-designing transmissions, suspensions and such, plus loads, and loads of $$$, I don't suggest you try undertaking a massive project like this! Also, why-o-why do you want to do this on a 9 year old car?

parts would be around $7k-$10. Labor.....I don't know where to start...Anything can happen.....I'm very familiar with tranny on RX300 4WD.
