1995SC4double0 Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I have warranty on my car, just got it a few weeks ago. The paper work says they did all of the maintenance, along with replacing wiper blades, front rotors and pads, and rear pads. However, I'm not sure if they actually did any other maintenance or just forgot to reset the maintenance reminder. I know I can take it to them, but I was going to reset it myself if possible. I'll take it to them for service in June.
landar Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 You can probably do it if you have an OBDII reader. Or you can take it to Autozone, Advance Auto or such and have them reset it. If you dont know what OBDII means, read up on it at this site ---> http://www.obdii.com/

At least it worked for me. *Make sure only the odo is showing-not trip. *Push and hold reset and turn the key on with the vehicle off. Light should go out. If the AC filter reminder is on: push and hold the AC off button until it beeps.
Mrgimme Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Thanks Fremantel, I did your reset "maint reqd" trick and it worked like a charm... I still wonder if I need service...But if something was WRONG wouldn't another light come on?
