Computer In My Gs

Installed a computer in my gs a couple a days ago... just gota finish it up a little.. its a 10.4" touch screen with a dual core 2.0ghz processor 2gigs of ram and 1000gig hard drive with a wireless n network card and microsoft streets for the gps

Thats a easy one.. why do guys do anything?? For the ladies of course lol but no ive always wanted to put a computer in my car and the gs was perfect for it because of the layout.The glove box also was perfect too because of where the cd changer was. The motherboard mounted perfectly with room for the hard drive and a dvd drive that im thinking of adding. I have lots of music and movies and i was tired of doing cds and dvds a computer was the best way for me to go. B)

Do you have a tutorial ? Or just the after install pic's ? Does it boot up when you turn the car on ?

Sorry no pics of me doing it and yes it has a smart power supply. You can adjust the settings on how it starts up and shuts down. Mines turns on after 5 seconds of seeing ignition and shuts down 3mins after the cars turned off. There is also a program the im going to use that runs over windows. You can design or own "skin" to how ever you like. For example i could make it look like this http://www.crackedconsole.com/car/Carputer/demo.jpg

Nice job. Having skin options is great, but I think you should tone down the colour of your faceplate as well.

nope. i bought a mini itx power supply, runs off of 12volts.

yea, i might dye it the color of the dash or do it black.. or maybe send it out and have covered like wood grain..
