So you're saying the aftermarket alarm system MAY fix it?? The local audio/alarm place wants +$350 to install it with the remote start system. Ridiculous. jcrome04 Posted April 9, 2009 Author Share Posted April 9, 2009 They figured out my Driver's door switch is going out! Cute. Here's something interesting... They told me that before they installed the ECU. The alarm system wouldn't even arm. The red security light never came on. But since the new ECU has been in it IS arming now and the light is coming on. So now the Bad door switch keeps tripping the alarm soooo.... It's just money right?? I mean I love my LS to death... but can't really afford to keep spending this kind of money on nothing.. I'd just about have spent enough to do the timing belt/water pump service!!!
