I took it to two audio shops (not bestbuy) and they both advised that only the original ML sub from lexus would fit and that they couldn't use any other type of 8 inch sub. I asked if the deck could be modified to hold another sub- and they both mentioned that the ML sub was specific to the factory amp and another sub would not get enough power from the factory amp. branflan Posted April 28, 2009 Share Posted April 28, 2009 JL audio makes a 10" marine sub suitable for freeair/infinite baffle use. Its power requirements are not that steep at arount 150w.
