Was wondering if anyone knew where to locate paint code....or more specifically, if anyone had the paint code for two-tone silver lexus. Need upper silver paint code, as well as lower (darker) silver code. It is for a 1990 ls. I tried the manual to no avail. thanks.

some codes from a may 19th post.

Note that these are on the driver's door post just above the latch. there will be 2 lines--top is upper color code and lower is lower code.

THANKS Tansupplyman!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is a company......towerpaint.com that will mix the factory color into an aerosol can. The spot I have to do is on the lower front bumper. A light sanding and adhesion promoter (also from towerpaint) will do the trick. I did this on my mercedes 300e and it looked great. A buddy of mine took his (Merc) to the dealer, and you can clearly see the "new" paint as they had trouble matching (as they used computerized matching). thanks again.

 What is going on with peeling paint on two spots on nose of sc430 2003? Has anyone else had this promlem? Looks like could be the clear top coat? First spot that happened dealer tried to say hit a rock even though no dent... today hand washing car, went to rinse, the nose and more paint started to peel.
