ylf
Before we got our 07 RX-350 I was reading reviews and read one that showed the backup camera display with lines superimposed on the screen showing your anticipated path, even showed curved lines when turning. Now that we have the car I find that it has no lines on the backup screen. Just wondering if that was a pre-release feature that they later took out or if that's a feature of the Levinson upgrade or maybe a feature in the European version (the review I read was from the UK). Anyway, just curious if anyone has the lines on their backup screen. I have them on my pickup backup camera and they are very helpful in gaining perspective with that fish eye view. Thanks, Mike

jgr7
I think that the back up lines were on the assisted parking cars. Jeff
allaw
I don't think even the 2010 RX has it. Audi and Infiniti has those lines though. I have seen it first on a Q7 almost 2 yrs ago. This is more of a programming issue, shouldn't take that long for Lexus to upgrade.
Slurpy
I have a fully loaded 2010, and can confirm there are no guidelines. I was dissapointed when I noticed this, as they can be quite useful. I also wish there was a numerical distance indicator when you are nearing an obstacle, as its really tough to tell with those cameras. I don't understand why 2010 RX has no intelligent park assist but Prius has....
cduluk
Yupp, they're only on the Rx's in the UK (or some other country...). Here's a vid showing the lines on a car from overseas. The 04-09 Rx's in the UK have power folding mirrors, the assisting lines, rear fog lights, a ton more than we have here in the US...

06GS300Silver
Wired, my 2010 RX350 has guidelines. But I am in Taiwan, so I guess they removed the feature it in the US.
