99fwc
My 1990 Lexus A/C is not putting out cold air. The two front fans do not turn on when the A/C is turned on. The RPMs do rise when the A/C is engaged. The compressor was replaced not too many years ago so I am looking for some basic tips to investigate prior to taking it to an expert. The alternator was just replaced, so maybe a wire was disconected? Thank you.
AzHotLS
Do you mean the fans in front of the radiator? I don't recall how it worked on my 90, but I don't think they turn on unless the coolant temperature is above a certain level. Did the AC blow cold air before the alternator replacement? jeffls400
Had the same problem with my 91 LS400. Culprit for me was the coolant temperature sensor that threads into the radiator on the lower driver's side.
