90LS400Lexus Posted March 5, 2009 Share Posted March 5, 2009 Thought I would post this... when I would first start my car, as soon as it started, it would kinda shake and "buck". I discounted it as worn motor mounts, (because at the time, my bracket bearing was not making a noise) but since I had my fan bracket/bearing replaced, start-ups are smooth as silk. Obviously that bearing had been bad for awhile and was the cause for that "bucking". It did it all of the time and since I replaced that, its not done it the first time. So... if you have "bucking" on initial start-up, it may be your fan bracket bearing going bad. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
