eatingupblacktop Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 OK - news about Sirius declaring Chapter 11 - where does that leave the thousands of owners of satellite radio subscriptions/installations in their cars? Just asking... My guess is out of luck! Chapter 11 gives them a chance to restructure before the creditors come in for their 50 cents on the dollar, but with all the competing technologies, the subscriber base just isn't there. In this economy, don't think anyone else is going to step in even at a firesale price.
BillyShaft Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Just based on the last two threads on this the last week or so, I am convinced that xm/serius will not make it. The final straw for me was hearing that there were STILL commercials even on the paid service. Not a chance. :chairshot:
