843tigers10
I only have heat coming out of the driver side vents. The other vents blow out cold air. How can I fix this? Also, when I turn my car on a buzzing noise comes on that sounds like it is coming from the vent air. It only last for about 10 seconds and then it goes away. Does anybody know what this is? Thanks! Yes it is the control unit deep inside your dash needs a lexus professional mechanic to change it mine did the same thing.
GuyTelefunken
It's actually the air mix actuator for the passengers side. It's a motor that moves a damper to change the air temperature. It's tight but doable for a seasoned mechanic.
Tracy Z
My 2001 GS300 with 200,000+ miles just started the doing exact same thing. I wanted to know if "83tigers10" had it repaired and what it cost? With this high mileage, I'm hesitant to invest too much - but it's been a great car for 10 years!
