Tyler1
I recently bought a Ls400 with the Nakamichi system in it. The problem is a couple speakers are blown, and i want to install new speakers and a sub. Do i need to buy a new deck to be customly put in? Does anyone have any information on what i need to do? Where to go? What to buy? Thanks.
Tyler1
Thank you, should i go to a lexus dealership to get quotes? Or just straight to best buy or the Stereo Warehouse where i would purchase everything.
NewGuy19
I wouldn't go to Lexus to get anything like this done. They will do excellent work I'm sure, but you will have a tough time getting them to put in anything other than stock replacement speakers. And their labor charges are higher than most audio places (at least that's how it works around here). If you are a DIYer then this site is all you should need to do the job yourself. http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/audio/ Otherwise places like Best Buy or the other mentioned places should be able to set you up with everything you need and also install it for you. AzHotLS
Have you read through any of the other threads talking about stereo problems? It could be the amp and not the head unit. If it is the head unit, it may be possible (and cheaper) to get it repaired. Just a thought. http://www.carstereohelp.com/stereoremovalLexusLS400str.htm
