killahb36 Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 They have it listed at 42300 and if I can get them to 38000 am i getting a decent deal??? To give you some info its a 2008 pearl on black, and has everything except ML sound. A woman traded up to a ls460 awd at her first service so it has 5300 miles on it.
BillyShaft Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Is this from a Lex dealer and if so, is it CPO?
mitch1988 Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Getting the same car with ML and all options for 38500 with 6k miles. 2008 awd silver/black
killahb36 Posted January 28, 2009 Author Posted January 28, 2009 yes cpo which is what they mean when they say 3 years 100k miles correct, also mitch1988 is your price firm mine is as low as i can get them it seems?? what did yours start out priced at??
BillyShaft Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Based on what the guys here have been saying, I would go in to look, but with the express intention of walking out without buying. Fling them an offer of $34,500. What are they going to do? Say no? Don't get upset, just shrug your shoulders and walk out. Then come back on Friday or Saturday (end of the month) and remind them of your offer. Again, they will cry and act like you are killing them, but the economy is what it is. They will be glad to see any kind of buyer. Have fun with it. It has been a while since people could really bargain for a good deal.
The G Man Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 $38K is a ok deal, but with the GS's rattle and brake squeaking problem, they are not selling too well. My dealer have tons of used ones on the lot, you can do a bit better than $38K.
