trev0006
Honda Insight vs Toyota Prius Finally a good competition for the Prius.

eatingupblacktop
Frankly can't get excited about either, but props to both for pushing the hybrid agenda!
SW03ES
Bear in mind too the Prius is all new in '10... They changed the interior to make it more normal like the Insight, the current Prius (which I own) is very uncomfortable to drive to me... jcrome04
I heard Ford has some new hybrid technology coming out that's supposed to be pretty awesome... Don't know if it's true or false. Just remember hearing somewhere.
SW03ES
Could be, the technology they're using now is the first generation Toyota technology. I know the new Focus hybrid got really great reviews...
jcrome04
Yeah the new 2010 Fusion Hybrid is supposed to be pretty amazing. Style wise I LOVE the 2010 Fusion's and Taurus'. They're awesome! Don't even look like American cars.
alexus77
i dont really like either of them but if i had to choose the insight looks a little bit cooler than the prius lol
blake918
I wouldn't buy either of them. The hybrid payback period is still way to long for me to consider buying one over a similar sized, less complex car like a Civic LX. Only if gas is $5/gallon will the Civic Hybrid pay off the hybrid premium in less than 10 years. No thanks! I have to admit that the new Ford Fusion is extremely appealing, until I heard that it is $7k-$8k more than the base I4 model. Wow.
