I have not used that one, but I bought an Equus Innova 3100a from Wal-mart for about $90 if I remember correctly.

Nice thing about the Innova is that it has USB connectivity for connecting to your PC for firmware updates and uploading data, and it has the definitions for the codes built-in.

Some readers require you to get the codes, then look them up in a book or online to see what they mean.

It was probably the best money I ever spent for maintenance.
