In the recent snow/ice conditions here I had no traction and a tendency to slip to the right with the traction control on. When I turned it off, it responed like most other Toyota products with rear wheel drive without snow tires. Moves ok, not great, but very predictable. If it does, then your trac is fine The car pushing to the right, could be based on the treadlife or tread pattern of your tires--one being higher than the other. If you feel more comfortable driving without it, more power to you. I prefer to turns off TC in any Automatic rearwheel/fourhwheel drive car. It does suck to have it on, since it's actually doing what we(the driver) can do ourselves by taking our foot of the Throttle.
