After Market Head Unit

Recommended Posts

I am about to install a aftermarket head unit in my 93 and was wondering what all i need to get and where from. Is it a hard job or can i do it in an afternoon. I am not really electricly inclined, engines are more my thing. Any tips would be great.

I got the wiring harness and DIN adapter, is there anything else I need?

you realize that there isnt a readily available harness in the US that lets you control ALL the factory speakers. (primarily the subs)

I installed the head unit successfuly and it works great. I did lose my sub, but i was wxpecting that. This morning, My car would not start, the battery is DEAD. I didn't have time to jump start the car, so it sat in the driveway all day. What could be the problem? Is there something that i need to do to the head unit or is it something worse?
