Newbie Here-have Some Questions

Hey guys im really new to the sc3/400 let alone lexus, im planning on getting a sc3/400 in the future and slap a 2JZ in it, but i had a few questions,: I wanted to know what are the main differences between the sc300 and the 400, and also what i would be looking (price wise)at for a high mileage good condition lexus s3/400. And maybe you guys can inform me on what i should look for in a sc3/400.

Sc300 is a 6 cyl. SC 400 is an 8.
