mrgdm007 Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Hey guys I have a 98 sc400 and was looking to upgrade the intake, ive been looking around and the only thing ive found was the BFI mod, there was something else i found that might work, and correct me if im wrong, but it looks like the GS400 has the same engine as the sc400 and so the intakes r similar, K&N make a cold air i think typhoon intake for the gs and i was wondering if that could fit in the sc, the only thing i saw that you would have to do to the sc is relocate the power steering fluid resovor, which looks like it would be easy just make a new braket to hold it up. Anyone done this, or no anything about it?
UCF3 Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 what year is the GS? if they're the same years it should inter-change. You can also try SRT Performance. They have a couple of Air boxes for the SC4.
renman Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 I have a BFI 3.2 Kit of which main the feature is convenience. I know that you can build your own BFI at a hassle. It is a proven, inexpensive mod. Let me know if you have any questions.
