gatorsc300
My sc300 is nearing 200k and I was looking to do a swap for a newer and more fuel efficient engine. What can I put in that would be most fuel efficient? I know I can swap a 1jz or something but I value fuel efficiency over power. Thanks. Clyde 1
The 4.0 isnt bad on fuel, my 93 SC 400 does 15 - 16 mpg in town and around 23 mpg on the highway, not too bad for a 15 year old auto. Give or take a lil bit for the right foot problems, I gotta lead right foot and a ball bearing ankle.....lol
Cwallbball10
I was just in Port Aransas, Tx and gas was only $1.65 a gallon. Not to say that it won't go back up, but RIGHT NOW it seems to be a small issue. Just my thoughts :)
gatorsc300
are there any engines produced in the last couple years that I could drop in there without too much trouble?

Cwallbball10
That engine looks good and very clean. Where did you have the swap done?
