Burnt Smell When Hard Acceleation

i get this burn smell evertime i push the car and it comes from my tranny. what could it be? worn tourque converter? also, i noticed my gas mileage got a little worse. i change tranny fluid when i change engine oil every 3000 miles. car has 135,000 plus rt now.

need yr help nor advice.

mine does it too but it's nothing to worry about it's that kind of burnt rubber kind of smell right? it happens from the clutch burning a little bit. even automatics have clutches.

did you check your valve cover gaskets also?i know when you push the gas hard that makes them somtimes leak a bit and you will get that smell.just a thought :D
