Oil Leak From Rear Main Seal

what is my risk if leave alone. 1993 sc300.....isnt a rear main seal big/expensive job?

I know a guy who has a rear main seal oil leak. He's been driving the car like this for years now. Just make sure you always check your oil level. Come to think of it, I had an old BMW 325i, and it leaked oil from the rear main seal. I drove it for about 6 months, making sure I always kept an adequate amount oil in the engine. Then I sold it, in the same condition, it never caused any problems.

Same here, my 93 300 rear main has leaves small drips in my garage now for 3 years. I think its about $400 to fix but so far no problems just check oil level ounce in a while.
