Today was the big day... first had the opportunity to sit in an IS-F hooked up to a dyno. Jumped in and was instructed to shift up at 6k and then without hitting the brake down shift at 5k.

What an awesome jolt the IS-F gave me, smooth like silk, as I tapped the leveler and started the ride all over again each time I hit 6k. Coming back down was just as much fun.

Then off to the test track, and behind the wheel of an IS-F. Here I pulled up to the starting line. The instructor says hit it until the stop sign, then put your foot into the brake... Zoom we rocket down the lane, that damn stop sign come up fast... about 60 miles per hour... then in almost a 1/4 of the distance the six piston calipers slowed us down.

Next to pull up to the skid pad. I get this "lock the wheel and hit the gas", and as a good boy I do as am told. Next thing I know all four corners of the car seem to come alive and we are doing 360's with out any effort what so ever.

Last we take on the cones at about 20mph, while am used to doing this in a flat six about about 50mph.

I will have more tomorrow along with photos for everyone.
