lklev
my driver side window episodicaly malfunctions when i attempt to close the window. when it goes up to the top, the window spontaneously returns down on its own, stopping at different height levels. this is an infrequent occurrance. im sure just an adjustment but curious if anyone else is experiencing this, and if anyone comprehends the etiology of this problem? thanks
ranger2692
This "normally" happens when the window channel is either restricted or too tight, its a safety feature to prevent kids from being caught or even strangled by electric car windows. If the sensor senses a restriction it returns the window to the down position.
Brio
I had the same problem with my previous car... I think that a Window Regulator Motor Reset Procedure would help and your dealer should make it for free. Just a thought. Brian
lklev
thanks for your interesting responses. last year i had the wind noise repair which included the rubber molding replacement this could be interfering with the tract, however it is quite sporadic, rare and why after one year of daily use?
