Blue Tooth / Radio Problem

About every 5th time I use my phone with the blue tooth conection the radio will not come back on after I hang up. The antenna goes back up and the radio display will come up on the nav screen, but no sound. Can anyone help???

Do you have the Mark Levinson system? A bulletin came out in January 2004 for this problem of the radio remaining muted after ending a bluetooth call. It requires the replacing of the ML amplifier.

Yes. I have the Mark Levinson system. Was this bulletin from Lexus or one you read on line?

How could I find this bulletin? Was this a warranty issue?

Just go to the dealer. You have to go them to get the amplifier anyway. If your vehicle is under warranty, the repair will be covered. If its not then you may have to pay. A manufacturers technical bulletin, is just that , a technical bulletin. It does not extend your warranty. Just find a good dealership you can work with.
